The Bayard Project is a support group based in Leeds, interested in the issues of BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) LGBT communities (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender), and also others who may feel marginalised. TBP's mission is to break stigma and traditional ideas about gender, sexuality and heteronormative culture within the BME community. The group advocates for inclusion and equality of all persons regardless of sexuality or gender and provides a safe space for queer people to meet and form a sense of community. The Bayard Project currently exists as a Facebook group, and also maintains Twitter account.
