Zambarau is a community organisation run by and for LGBTQI people of African descent. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for Black LGBTQI people. The organisation strives to empower, encourage self-respect, heighten self-awareness, instil confidence and raise self-esteem. Zambarau's activities include general support, peer support and social networking.

Ethnic Health Foundation

Ethnic Health Foundation was founded in 2002 to engage the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in training, health improvement and disease prevention. The formation was occasioned by issues around general health of BME communities, particularly African and African-Caribbean population. The charity aims to promote any purposes for the benefit of the public, in particular, but not exclusively, for the benefit of people of African and Caribbean descent, including refugees and asylum seekers, without prejudice.

Africa Advocacy Foundation

African Advocacy Foundation (AAF), established in 1996, promotes better health, education and other life opportunities for disadvantaged people through practical support, advocacy, information, advice, guidance and training. Their activities include information, advice, guidance and support services on a range of areas including sexual and mental health and training services. AAF's mission is to provide practical, social, educational and community support to those that are living in poverty and illness particularly within the minority ethnic communities in Greater London.

House of Rainbow Fellowship

House of Rainbow Fellowship is an inclusive and affirming religious community, reaching out with a primary mission to sexual minorities and marginalised people within the faith communities. The vision of the House of Rainbow Fellowship was birthed by Reverend Rowland Jide Macaulay, an openly gay African theologian.

The Quest

The Quest is a resource for gay men to explore and better understand the complexities, joys, challenges, frustrations, thinking and emotions involved with being a gay man in today’s world. It offers workshops, group coaching and individual counselling.

The Rainbow Intersection is a Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) organisation in the UK, set up to bridge the gap when it comes to the intersections across race, culture and sexuality.

UK Coalition of People Living with HIV and AIDS

The UK Coalition of People Living with HIV and AIDS (UKC) was a United Kingdom-based organisation, supporting people living with HIV with advocacy and advice services. Its mission was to “to ensure the diverse voices of people living with HIV and AIDS could be heard”. UKC was disestablished in 2007, but its website remains as a rich source of valuable information.

The Race Equality Foundation promotes race equality in social support and public services. The organisation has offices in London, Manchester and Leeds, and works with a range of national and local partners who are delivering health, housing, social care and parenting support.
